Welcome to the Wes and Mitzi baby news site!
This site was created to allow our friends and family to follow along during our pregnancy. Now that Mitzi has given birth and little Caleb is with us, it is serving as a reminder of this journey. Celebrate with us this little miracle from God! |
Timeline:
October 16th(ish): Conception!
November 13th: Positive test...3 of em!
November 16th: First ultrasound. We see a tiny black spot!?
December 7th: Second ultrasound. We see baby and heartbeat! (see pictures) Really cool!
December 22nd: Third ultrasound. Baby is 3 times bigger than last time. Kind of looks like a teddy graham!
January 12th: First time hearing the heartbeat! 159bpm.
February 9th: Heard the heartbeat again! 150bpm. Baby's getting bigger!
March 8th: IT'S A.....(drum roll!).....LITTLE DUDE!
April 10th: Fifth ultrasound. Growin, movin, and a shakin! We're "playing" now!
May 7th: Mitzi diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Nothing serious, but please keep praying. Caleb is doing good!
May 17th: Mitzi UN-diagnosed with gestational diabetes! Just can't have lots of sugar.
June 29th: Mitzi 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced...oooh getting closer!
July 2: Sixth (and final) ultrasound. Estimated weight 7 lbs. 10 ounces, +/- 1 lb. Head down, feet out, dropped and ready to go! (no pictures, sorry)
July 6: Mitzi now 3 cm dilated, still 50% effaced.
July 13: Mitzi now 4 cm dilated, still 50% effaced. Stubborn little guy!
